Chicago!

Richard and I traveled over the Martin Luther King weekend to Chicago. We found last minute really cheap plane tickets and an incredible deal on a hotel right downtown. We were destined to go there for a final trip before the baby comes. It was so cold that I had to wear 2 shirts, a sweater, thermal underwear, and a coat. We had fun though! Within Saturday through Monday afternoon, we did everything we want and more. Once you see how much, you will wonder how I did it! Here is a list of all we accomplished:
Shopping on Magnificent Mile (didn't buy anything except at the Hershey store!)
Lincoln Park Zoo (it was free!)
Riding the bus (many times)
Tribune Tower (they have pieces from buildings all over the world in the walls)
Gino's deep dish pizza
Navy Pier
Shedd Aquarium (it was free!)
Field Museum
Chicago style hot dogs
Sears (Willis) tower
PJ Clarke's dinner
Riding the subway
Blue Man Group show (amazing!)
Millenium Park and "The Bean"
Went into the John Hancock Observatory but it was too cloudy to go up
Giordano's stuffed pizza

That is right! We conquered most touristy things in Chicago. We would love to go back one day and hit up a baseball game, architecture tour on a boat, Chinatown, Greektown, and a couple others. All in all we had a really fun Chicago adventure.
