Trip to Virginia

Last weekend, we took a trip to Virginia to visit Grandma and the rest of my dad's side of the family. This was Benjamin's first trip to Virginia and first plane flight! Saturday morning before we left to go to the airport, Benjamin woke up with a 104 fever. We rushed to the doctor to find out that he had a slight ear infection. The doc said he would be ok to fly so we did.
Benjamin loved watching the planes at the airport. When we boarded the plane, we made a bottle and got ready for take-off. There were 4 other kids under 4 around us and a pediatrician sat beside us. We were incredibly lucky that Benjamin took his bottle and fell right to sleep for the rest of the flight. Actually he did that on both flights to and from Virginia.
It was so good to spend time with all of our family and for Benjamin to meet some family he hadn't met yet. Even though he was sick, feverish, and attached to mommy the whole time...he did wonderful on our weekend trip.
