This weekend Bob and Nellie Leonard came to Auburn to visit us. They live just right up the street from my parents. Mr. Bob is an Auburn alum and was eager to see how much campus had change since he was here some time ago. We had a lot of fun at the Loachapoka Syrup Sopping Festival and touring campus. Of course Mr. Bob and Richard were done looking around the festival in about 30 minutes, but it took Mrs. Nellie and I just a little bit longer (we had to shop). We got some really good fried pies while we were there which made Mrs. Nellie decide she wanted to make some. Richard and I are looking forward to those sometime soon. After lunch at the festival, we headed to downtown Auburn to tour the campus and walk around the shops. Of course we had to get some lemonade at Toomer's. Mrs. Nellie said, "It's not a trip to Auburn if you don't get lemonade."Thanks for coming down Mr. Bob and Mrs. Nellie!
